MAPPING LOST PLACES AND THEIR STORIES

(noun)  [GREEK]

the inability to distinguish between reality and fantasy

excerpt

To research and compile a book about “lost” places, featuring a diverse and functional typographic design system displayed across multiple chapters and infographics.

synopsis

There are many books fictionally exploring lost cities and continents, but not many accounts that draw close parallels between mythical descriptions and physical or geographical evidence found in scientific and historic archives and news reports. Combining this with reality and a favorite topic: mythology, Mapping Mirages was born.
