excerpt

To understand an existing problem in the world history syllabus in the public middle school system in order to prepare the next generation of middle school students to be aware of a more diverse U.S. population.

synopsis

World History is no longer about the countries outside of our reach, especially in today's increasingly connected global economy. History lessons have to be modified to reflect the diversity in classrooms, and be taught in methods that will help younger students learn faster and enjoy the process of learning a well-rounded history of the world.
